VOLUNTEER
Volunteers play a CRUCIAL role at PHARF, helping us to offer ongoing care, affection, and attention to our beloved furry friends. We extend a warm invitation to fellow animal enthusiasts to join our dedicated team of compassionate volunteers. Volunteers are required to be 18+ or accompanied by a parent at all times and attend a volunteer orientation
FOSTER
Fosters provide love, safety, and comfort; PHARF provides the supplies. If you have room in your heart and your home, PLEASE consider fostering. Fostering not only helps the animal you bring into your home but also opens a space in the rescue to save another life. Fill out an application and a member of the foster team will contact you with next steps.
FURLOUGH
A weekend away can mean the world to a rescue. Furloughs give our animals the opportunity to experience love, relaxation, and the comforts of home, even if only for a short time. Your temporary getaway guest returns happier, less stressed, and better prepared to find their forever family.
FIELD TRIPS
Take one of our dogs out on an adventure. Walk around in a nearby preserve, go on a car ride, peruse the aisles of a local pet store, the choice is yours! Whatever it is, they will be so grateful to get out of their kennel and into the world, returning tired and happy. It's a low-commitment way to help out these animals.
